The use of intentional non-fluency, or as it is known as techniques that show that we are stutterers, kills within us the fear of stuttering or of people's reactions. This in itself is considered a psychological weapon to combat stuttering. The goal of this program is to achieve clarity and eloquence. By practicing exercises and following rules and guidelines, you can become clear and expressive, but what do you need to become articulate in speech? Self-awareness: Achieving eloquence begins with self-awareness, and self-awareness is usually a lifelong process. The most important thing is to be on the right path to know the truth about yourself, which makes you more positive and aware of your abilities. People who go through this stage have many interesting things that reflect on their way of speaking and are considered part of eloquence. Focus, clarity, and self-realization are directly related to self-awareness and showing your true personality to others. John Harrison portrayed self-awareness as two circles, one representing your true self and the other representing what you show to others, and the overlapping area between the circles represents self-awareness. **The hexagonal shape:** We are fundamental systems that have sub-systems consisting of our physical, mental, and social states. 1-Intentions are what you tell yourself and others that you will do. Often, intentions are not related to words, but to what you want to do in general. 2-Behaviors should follow intentions without delay or procrastination, and should demonstrate your credibility with yourself and others. 3-Emotions (Sensations) : there are many good and bad feelings. Good feelings do not lead to disorders and many of us have noticed improvement in stuttering when feeling joyful. But what happens when experiencing negative emotions: Anger: when angry, we often lose control of our speech and stuttering becomes noticeable. Frustration: when things do not go your way, you become frustrated. Therefore, you should try to relieve this feeling and not let it escalate into anger. Fear: as people with stuttering, we used to deny fear and avoid situations that frighten us. The more we avoid them, the more fear grows and turns into panic and terror. Therefore, we must acknowledge our fear and be brave to face it. 4-Physical condition: our physical condition is more important than we think as it gives us the energy to do all the things we want to do. Also, the physical condition affects all six elements of the hexagon. If you are sick or physically tired, it will affect your emotions, intentions, and actions, and naturally, it will affect your speech and your ability to control stuttering. 5-Perceptions: what you think is true, and perhaps you believe it is true! For example, you believe it is impossible to speak in front of your classmates without stuttering. This belief affects your intentions, and you do not intend to participate or speak in class, and as a result, your behavior follows, and you really do not speak in front of your classmates. Thus, each element of the hexagon affects the other. The solution begins with changing intentions and committing to them, and the other elements will follow. 6-Beliefs are the perceptions that have proven to be true over time to ensure the accuracy of what you believed was true. In the previous example: You imagined that you couldn't speak in front of your colleagues, because the solution starts from intentions, then you intend to control your stuttering in front of your colleagues, and follow it with behaviors and actions by practicing the technique continuously, and your feelings are positively affected because you have made a commitment and continue to achieve what you want to accomplish, which affects your physical condition and you feel energized to do the exercises. And the more you practice, the more your perception towards this matter changes, and you believe that you might be able to control your stuttering in front of your colleagues in class. And indeed, you go to class and try to participate and speak with control, and the more you speak, the more you begin to change your beliefs about this matter.
