State of Blocking When I fear an upcoming block I enter on blocking state. What I mean with this is my mind and body prepares for the block. I know I will block. I can feel it on my body. I can read it on my thoughts. I feel my jaw, throat and abdomen tense. When I feel like this I always block. After the blocking incident I still feel the state of blocking for some time. Specially if the trigger is still around. Is like driving on a car an yelling at other person. When the incident is over the angriness still carry on. *¿Where I am going with this?* There is a state of fluency too. Or state of normality. Or state of relaxation. State of whatever is opposite to blocking. I know this because I don´t feel all the time like blocking. The goal is to go from state of blocking to state of fluency as much as we can. On practice we will be able to go faster. The time between states will be closer to 0. I believe this will be helpful for two reasons: 1) If we know that we are able to stop feeling blocked, the fear of blocking will diminish because we know, that eventually, it will go away. 2) When our time between state´s is very quick (close to 0) blocking will be irrelevant. We won´t event notice the state of blocking and it will already dissapear. You can said that there are not fluent people. They only recover too fast from blocking we can´t notice the fear on them.
