Stuttering/Anxiety My stuttering goes to overdrive when I am explaining something to my friends or just hanging out with my friends in general. I am absolutely horrible at telling stories as you can imagine. Usually going into too much detail and stammering here and stammering there. I can sense the uncomfortableness in their faces as they look away or look down. It's this feeling in my throat that feels like I am choking and sometimes an audible grunt would come out which can be very embarrassing. The moment I start stuttering it leads to me saying nothing the entire night other than being the "yes man". "Oh really?" "Cool man" "Haha". Falling back to the words I know I don't stutter with. At this point I just want to get out of there.
