As being someone who has gotten silently laughed at during school presentations because of my stutter i tell myself that they have no idea what it is like to stutter and how hard it is to get one word out so they don’t care and have no sense of respect. It is different for everyone depending on how bad they stutter but I stutter enough in regular conversations to when people are laughing because it’s awkward to laughing because they think it’s so funny.
