"Anybody else have similar experiences/solutions?" The same reasons (that you mentioned) trigger my panic to stop breathing out or stop moving articulators (like tongue and jaw) during speech. What I do to 'approach this panic' is to passively observe the panic (and its reasons like anticipatory fear, stutter pressure etc) without reacting to it and without trying to reduce the panic. Instead, I let the panic be (in my body) and move my focus from 'focusing on panic' to focusing on the intention to breathe out or move articulators during speech. Additionally I **learn** from the panic.
