Did I handle it wrong? Okay so this happenend 4 months ago. I deal with a shit ton of people daily. Guy, 18-20 looking, came up to compliment my necklace. It seemed whole heartedly sweet with no ill intention. Lovely guy. HOWEVER HE HAD A MASSIVE STUTTER. For the first 3 words it took him awhile. I could tell he was trying to just get it out so I kinda forced a breather onto him by blurting out "You got this" calmly with a lil smile (I overanalyze how I present myself so I know for a fact my posture and execution wasnt inherently 'rude', but I know it could be read wrong if your super anxious) . He had a nervous chuckle and said it in one go after I had paused him. Here's the thing. Was it wrong to point it out? Should I have just waited it out and then thanked him? What could I do next time to not be as insensitive. I don't know why my brain impulsively said that shit. I can't stop thinking about it. Just need some advice, thank you! Excuse awful-terrible-no-good-grammar ty 🤞
