this is almost exactly my experience. i didn’t talk much at all til i was abt 11, had a very mild stutter. then abt 11 to 16, had a severe stutter that made communicating almost impossible, and my parents screamed at me for “faking”. after that, it became mild again. now it’s starting to get a bit worse. i definitely understand why you’re worried, sometimes i get nervous abt my stutter getting to that level again. for me, it’s usually better when i’m not focused on it. i can talk and get words out, so there’s no need for me to overthink it. i get frustrated once in a while, and ppl make fun of me, but it’s not too bad.
