I know this is a old post but I stuttered as long as I can remember, worse as a kid but got a little better as I got older (33 y/o now). I went to college and graduated with an undergraduate in physical therapy, got my first job as a PT aide, then got accepted into DPT school (doctorate in physical therapy). Dropped out and currently driving trucks for a living, I make as much as some PT graduates. I don’t drive as much anymore as I work directly under my boss at our terminal, but there is a lot of mental stress that goes into stuttering, I still beat myself up pretty bad when I can’t speak a sentence but my wife is always telling me that people don’t care as much as you do. Keep pushing!
