There’s pros and cons. Youre going from being the big fish in the pond, to the small fish again so I found that the start was a bit nerve racking since you don’t know anyone. That passed after a week or two. You’ll be with people with similar interests so you’ll end up making pals quickly. Lecturers are nothing like school teachers. It’s way more relaxed and laid back. I found that helped me a lot. Every course sticks to themselves so you’ll be socializing with your class. It’s a bigger place so there will 100% be other people with a stutter there. The fact it’s a bigger place means they will have a bigger support center too. I’ve personally never told education about my stutter but where I am, I get weekly emails about extra help etc. they do take it seriously. I think you’ll do really well with the change. It gives you the chance to reshape yourself. No one knows you so you can be someone entirely new!
