Ok in professional settings I try tapping my foot to slow me down. That's still a work in process though. I try to think before I speak and what I want to say before I say it. My experience is sometimes I understand myself very well and I think I am being fluent but then the other person didn't understand and that throws me off. Have you always stuttered? I've always stuttered. I feel like it's a mixture of psychology and chemistry. And if it's a mostly psychological cause we developed for whatever reason. I wish I had the internet growing up, I had no idea how many people stutter and I always felt alone. What kind of support network do you have to lean on when you are frustrated or whatever?
