Your comment is a perfect example of availability bias. You’ve probably been around many more stutterers than you realize. Think about it, with how many people you pass by in daily life do you actually hold long enough conversations to even notice if they stutter? Severity of stutter matters too. Most of stutterers aren't on the very severe part of the spectrum, yet they can still have stuttering as a disorder. It's just not extremely noticeable. Most people I've ever interacted in my entire life didn't even know that I stutter. For example delivery drivers. They've met me, yet they would say they've never met anyone who stutters. So sorry but your "I actually don't believe" doesn't mean anything. These are facts.
