Interestingly, I think many people who stutter do not know that their secondary behaviors are a direct result of attempts to avoid having repetitions. Many people here incorrectly think their inability to say their name is a terrible arbitrary accident at being named with the hardest sound for them. As opposed to the truth that we struggle with our name simply because it’s one if the most unavoidable words we say.
