I do what my therapist (slp) calls “revisions”. Instead of trying to hammer through the block. I stop and retry in a relaxed way. Recently I got a fidget roller (silent and fits in my hand without drawing attention… I have adhd) and that helps me with the anxiety while speaking or if I get in a block. It’s a nice subtle distract or from being nervous while speaking. I would recommend even if u don’t have adhd tbh.
