I can relate to this perfectly, some of the acting I can even transform to real life but then it becomes like a crutch you can't walk without. Asking for favors is one of the biggest stutter trigger for me but if I do it in a "little girl voice" and act all shy, ashamed ad confused I don't stutter at all. It's funny that when I'm shy and confused for real I stutter profoundly. Ironically it's all about not being myself that takes away the stutter. This is just an indication of how much we lack self-acceptance.
