There are a lot of ways to deal with this issue. One of them is finding a strategy to use. You can use light contact or talk in a slow, smooth pace. There are many more strategies but it’s your choice to see which one will work for you. I’d recommend doing some research. Another thing you must know is that you don’t have to be perfect. Even if you stutter very badly or you feel humiliated. Don’t be hard on yourself because it’ll only make you feel worse. Oh and there’s an app called “Fluency Coach”. It uses delayed auditory feedback and can be very helpful for people with a stutter or even talking on the phone. Hopefully it helps. Good luck!
