If you’re a man, women like men who own their shit. That’s not to say that you’ll be turning heads by stuttering a lot, but if you learn how to control the secondary characteristics of stuttering and not let the moments of disfluency bother you, it is more attractive. If you’re a woman who stutters, I doubt men even care. Almost every man I’ve met has stuttered a lot at one point in conversation(men seem way more predisposed to disfluency disorder and random moments of disfluency without disorder). If you’re non-binary, The LGBT community is already pretty comfortable with disabilities as it is, so I don’t think you’ll find much trouble within that community. Also, straight people willing to date a non-binary person are likely well-informed enough to at least not let it define you as a person. The most resistance or trouble you’d probably ever have in the dating world with your stutter is in a very right-wing environment. In those environments, there is a clear social distinction between “normal people” and “disabled people”. If you hover around progressive people and forward-thinkers, such as LGBT and other well-informed communities, you’ll be fine. That’s my take and basically my reality. Hope it helps.
