I think the combination of how I feel when I stutter and people's reactions to my stutter have created my negative attitude towards stuttering in general. This might explain why i'm so uncomfortable being around people who also stutter. Also, when I think about it, this attitude just perpetuates my anxiety when stuttering, but how do you change that? It happens every now and then, when I don't care if I stutter or not, but that seems to be the opposite extreme of caring a lot.
