I alway thought I rather be mute. I know a few stutterers who said the same thing. I asked a few people who do not have a speech impediment if they would rather stutter or be mute? They all said "stutter." My brother said to me, "You know that frustration you can experience when you stutter? Now Imagine if you could not say anything?" I couldn't talk to my friend's, people I meet, or pretty much anyone. I think that would be pretty bad.
