I guess it does make sense, since it’s mainly who we date that we give the power to hurt us the most, since with them we are the most emotionally vulnerable. Yes, most of my bad experiences have been with men, but strangely enough it’s never been the men I date. it’s mostly been classmates, teachers, family, co-workers or people I meet for the first time. Actual friends or boyfriends would never make fun of me for such a thing, after all, they chose to be with me.
