Our goal should be functioning members of society. It's certainly a cross to bear that others have no idea the suffering we go through, yet we can't run away from our problem and hope it resolves itself. The farther I get in my journey as a stutterer I realize how much is in my control, and how little is set in stone with my speech. Make sure he gets the job, running away won't make anything better for him (outside of how comfortable he feels day to day).
