Everyone is different. I am a person who stutters as well as a speech-language pathologist. I stutter when I sing solo in front of a crowd (bombed many auditions in HS show choir ha) I have several friends who stutter no matter what comes out of there mouth. (Singing included) I had a client who stuttered when they sang and talked. Yes, singing may help some but not all.
