I’ve had 6 speech therapists in my life. None of them provided any long term benefits because none of them understood stuttering beyond the mechanical. I’ve worked directly with the speech program at the University of Oregon. I was very shocked to see that even they did not understand or promote the foundational importance of confidence building necessary for long-term fluency building.
