Doctors were already wondering about a possible stutter at 4 years old, according to my health record. I don't remember having stuttered before I was 7, as if this proto-stutter had lessened. From what I remember, I wanted to show that I could read quickly in class, so I read quickly, to the point where it made me stutter, and I didn't listen to people who told me to speak slowly. This stuttering became permanent after that.
