Wow, our situations are so similar it almost feels like I wrote this. I also struggle on hard consonants like B, C and D. My name was supposed to be Christopher, but my mum decided on Sean at the last minute and I silently thank her almost every day for that. Anxiety is a major factor in my stutter as well, if I'm in a situation I'm totally comfortable with I rarely struggle at all, but speaking in large groups or with an added time pressure exacerbates it terribly. We also share the same effects of weed/alcohol. I'm very self conscious of the words I need to switch around sometimes when I can feel a block coming up. I need to throw in a word before it at the last minute or change it all together. As for medication, I'm currently taking mirtazapine for unrelated depression issues. This drug is also supposed to combat anxiety. I haven't really noticed a difference yet, but on a different post relating to stuttering, somebody else claimed to have been taking it and it has improved their speech immensely. Hope this helps a little bit.
