I felt this so much. Once I was eating out with my buddy and the waitress must of thought I had finished, even though my plate still had food on it. She picked up my plate, said thank you and walked off. I didn't say anything because of my stutter and my buddy was alarmed and asked if I was finished, I tried to play it off and said that I was finished, but I wasn't... I'm normally quite fluent in my day to day life but in that moment I froze.
