How do you if you’ve been rejected because of you stutter?

How do you if you’ve been rejected because of you stutter? I’m a rather bad stutterer however I can’t say I’ve been rejected because of it. Is this an excuse? I’m not against anyone this is a genuine question and could be a healthy debate.
