Diaphragmatic breathing is AWESOME, but I’d strongly suggest to do it as often as possible, *except* when trying to speak. When trying to speak, but having fear based blocks, the following very specific steps will be most effective. Make eye contact, exhale normally and begin slowly. I’ve made a post with formal links to the scientific and psychological reasons why those are the most important habits to develop to decrease blocks.
