Perhaps the classes will help you in other ways, which is fine of course. :) "Nerves" is a factor. How much of a factor it would be for you, and what might be done about it, we wouldn't know. If you often feel very nervous when you have to speak, maybe you should consider what it is that's making you nervous. We can't say stuttering is about "lack of control", though. It's not like all you have to do is "_control it_" and it's gone - if that were the case, we would've solved stuttering by now. ;) But figuring out what helps you when you have to speak is a good thing. Whether you can do that on your own, or by talking to someone (professional or not), that's something you're going to have to work towards. :)
