I'm no expert but I feel like people here will typically say they stutter on their name, and are more likely to say they stutter on words that start with the same letter as their name. Therefore, it might be sensible to choose a name that starts with a rarer sound? Like if you name your child Zelda then she's just as likely as anyone else to struggle with her name, but at least her life won't be too full of other words that start with the same letter as her name. Edit: Also! Don't pick an unusual name! If you pick a name that no one has ever heard of, your kid is going to go through their life hearing "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" even when they just said it flawlessly the first time. No one wants that.
