I always get kind of mad when shit like this comes to the sub. Almost more mad than "i stutter, [insert deppressive shit]" post. Im 25, extremely comfortable with my stuttering, but i still stutter a lot. I dont identify myself from my stuttering, its just a think i have. Sure, being nervous makes it worse, but its not going away because you "change your mindset". Stuttering is bound to have some genetical/ neurological foundations, you cant take that away. Most of us will always stutter, probably 4/5. We wont be completely fluent speakers. We can work on being MORE fluent (highly recommend McGuire), but never completely fluent. Dont look at stuttering as an actual issue, because its not. Most people dont give a shit.
