Thank you for replying, I thought I was going crazy!! My entire life that I was in school I would always have conversations with my teachers and professors about my stutter and how I felt about speaking out loud in class and doing presentations, and they would always say to just get over it and I would still need to do presentations etc. it is so frustrating. I just read your article, and I think you did an amazing job and it is like you said on there because I have moments of fluency, other people do not take it seriously or will dismiss it as me being shy or just not wanting to do the work but it’s about so much more than that!!! We need to start thinking about the psychological/mental/ and even physical effects that come with stuttering!! I will save your article and share it with people if I need to because it sums everything up perfectly.
