Yeah. At my high school, I was declared as a special needs, but I wasn’t given any special benefits. I’m not saying I’m entitled to any, but things like giving speeches wasn’t waived for me, or graded easier. It was like... oh you stutter? Cool. Still gotta do this speech and here’s this rubric I’m grading you on. Good luck. Makes me think stuttering isn’t regarded as high on the “academic accommodations” list
