I agree, and I think acceptance of your stuttering is probably the single most helpful thing you can do for yourself mentally. The problem, and I think what drags a lot of people (myself included) down, are the thoughts of what our lives *could* have been like had we not allowed stuttering to hold us back. Sure, no point in lingering on the past, as there's nothing you can do about it, but not lingering on those thoughts is much easier said than done.
