I wish I knew. I had a mod to severe stutter as a child, but as an adult, my stutter has improved drastically on its own. I mostly suffer from vocal blocks now, secondary behaviors (rapid eye blinking, mouth movements and strains, etc). Weirdly enough, my stutter progesses to moderate when I'm around family.
