I always talk about my own experiences when people comment on the way he speaks. If you stutter it’s easy to see that he struggles sometimes but for the average person you wouldn’t notice it. When I hear someone say that the way he speaks indicates low intelligence I just politely inform them of my own experiences and how that thinking harms the perception of people who stutter
