My name begins with a plosive constant, where the first sound of my name is formed by blocking airflow in the mouth and then releasing it, and I always have a terrible time saying it. Think of trying to say the name David (not my name) and blocking on Da, da, da, da, David. I made sure to name my children with first names that start with consonants that are made without the tongue completely blocking airflow, like Sssssss or Rrrrrrrrr. I would think that practice with easy onset could help in pronouncing this name.
