Actually for me the whole key to ‘overcome’ the stutter or actually really improve on it is acceptance of it and don’t see it as something bad anymore. The more you see it as something bad you try to fight it and with that the stutter becomes worse. For me I accepted my stutter when I was 18 (23 YO now) and when I started to go to Uni. Done where the insecure days of being in high school and people reacting childish, that was wonderful (those childish reactions are there, but far far less and if it happens now there is something ‘wrong’ with them not with me! I don’t blame their reaction on me but on them) And after all we do have a voice, we do have great ideas, and if you realize that and you build your self esteem again things will move into the right direction!
