When you’re not thinking about how bad you’ll stutter everything gets easier. Note that’s easier said than done because for years that’s all I did for years, dreading the next time I had to open my mouth. It’s like when drinking, your brain is so focused on just feeling good and a little buzz that it’s not taking the time to say “what if I stutter”. You just blurt or whatever comes to mind. If you utilize that mindset when not drinking things get better
