I know that this will sound very cliche but you need to have confidence in yourself and try not to let your life be taken over by the stutter. I'm also 14 and I've found that just taking my mind off of it helps. I only put my hand up if I think I'll be able to talk. If you just try and talk when you can, it may help, even if you do stutter. Don't let the stutter control you. And, about worrying when it's gonna go away. My granddad is always very confident and friendly, talking with anyone about anything at any time, he's always been very talkative. I recently found out that my stutter stems from him, he had one when he was little and is somehow now this talkative man. That's what has given me hope that my stutter may go away one day, if you're just confident about it :) Good luck!
