Didn't go to therapy since I was 11 when I started again at age 19 in college. 7 out of my 8 semesters of college I went to therapy and it's helped me. Did it help at first? No, so it takes time. There isn't much difference between a 19 and 22 year old. I went to the university's speech and hearing clinic, so if you are in college I'd try to see if your school has one.
