This is completely true. Nothing good comes fast and nothing that comes fast can last. A good starting point of acceptance for me was when my speech therapist told me that a stutter has many benefits and I thought she was chatting 💩 but no she was right. Stutterers are very empathetic people and we inadvertently learn to be observant. Imagine u didn’t have a stutter and could talk all ur life without thinking about it, chances are you’d be some annoying guy who can never stop talking because they’ve never had to think about what to say. Stuttering is part of you and will shape you into the good person I’m sure you are BUT it does not define you and what you choose to do in life defines you. Time is also a big factor. After years of hardship comes acceptance.
