Well, I wouldn't dismiss her entirely because of this. I stutter and I have myself laughed at another person's weird stuttering. It's not out of malice, or the need to laugh *at* them, it just happens, because if you keep everything aside, it is kind of funny how we all twitch. We shouldn't laugh, but if you have not encountered a person who stutters before, and see them stutter, it can be an awkward experience and they might try and diffuse the situation with a laugh. I think it's kind of nice of her to warn you beforehand, and I don't know, kind of sweet to take your stutter into consideration.
