Bare in mind that there are countless suffering individuals other than ourselves. Some people will always have it much, much worse than us. In that perspective, we are indeed blessed. God gives you just as much as you can handle. He gives his hardest battles to His strongest soldiers. The key in this is to know you are never alone in your struggle. Everyone's must bear their own cross. Helping your carry our brothers/sisters crosses will make our own cross lighter - as it will theirs.
