Probably because you’re putting off bad vibes. People don’t care if you stutter, they just want to hire someone who’s going to do the work and be tolerable to be around. If you’re giving off negative vibes, they’re unlikely to hire you. Just try to stay positive in the interview and enthusiastic. Try not to worry about stuttering at all. Just disclose it at the start and be yourself. You’ll be fine.
