Do check whether IELTS is accepted by the universities you're applying for because I heard it is being phased out. As far as TOEFL is concerned, we have the option to apply for considerations and we have to submit a few documents. Maybe IELTS has the same thing. As far as the speaking score is concerned, some universities are really strict about it especially in Canada but there are some ivy leagues in the US where they don't have a minimum threshold and they just have a recommended score.
