Yeah the thought of a brain implant is pretty scary to me. But you realize the people currently subjected to the project otherwise have little to lose and everything to gain if it can restore normal brain function from their severe disabilties. Its far from ready for mild disabilities like most peoples stutters but maybe it will get there or some other technology will emerge from it being able to help us.
