Well for me personally, I did my research before hand on how many words the average male (in my case) says a day. And my main goal was to match that in my exercises alone. 2000 sentences if I broke that down into words, I couldn’t even begin to calculate but you get the picture. I tried to say the amount of words an average adult says but in my exercises alone and with perfect airflow, technique etc. I suffered from social anxiety due to my speech and that made my stutter truly unbearable most times. I didn’t see any real results until about 3 weeks in of doing it every day. And it was like I could feel the blocks lessening and lessening in real social situations. It was seemingly a combination of both me speaking so many times and so many words that I stopped doubting myself, and me diverting my attention away and programming my speech to be more automatic. I spoke so much that It was just something that I KNEW I could do. Prior to doing this I had doubt and panic attacks about even saying a 3 word sentence. That all seemingly dissipated and social interactions came across more easily
