This is a great mindset to be in. Glad you are here. But in my experience, trying to "forget about your stutter" will cause you more pain and stuttering. As this means you are putting energy into stopping stuttering which ultimately feeds the fear of stuttering which will make you stutter more. Realizing stuttering is a mindset is great but just remember whatever resist, persists. What has got me to overcome my stutter is by changing my view on my stutter. Through a progressive series of exercises, challenges, and habits, starting to see stuttering as a neutral or positive thing completely deflates its power on you. You are then not resisting it, so it doesn't persist. You will only want to resist if you view it as negative. Does that make sense?
