Nobody rejected me because I was stuttering. It's all on how you perceive the rejection. If you get rejected and say they rejected you because you're not enough, then yes of course that would cause more pain. But if you have a realistic view on rejection, and see that over and over again, the people who "reject" you are often looking like they are not happy/having a good day. That's not a reflection on you, that's a reflection of them. I'm definitely not a poster boy of positivity, I just don't see things through the lens of sense self doubt and insecurity anymore.
