I have met four people so far. One in college, one in grad school, a family friend's kid, and a friend's spouse. All men, I have never met a woman stutterer. I really wonder why. I know they exist (me lol!) but I've never met any irl outside of this sub. It's a bit comforting to meet peers who have struggled like you have and tell a younger stutterer that it's going to be okay.
